If you haven’t yet ventured into the Golden Triangle’s latest greatest coffee bar and pub, Rooster & Moon, it’s time for you to pull yourself together and get down here asap. This place has got it all – a comfortable daytime coffee house, an uber friendly staff, great ambience, great food selections, and when the work is done, a full bar and cornhole set! That’s right, friends, cornhole! They also have pretty legit happy hour specials from 3pm – 7pm, which includes $2 well drinks, $3.50 house wines, $4 call drinks and 1/2 priced coffee rockets (whatever that is). Rooster & Moon also hosts Geeks Who Drink, Denver’s illest quiz show. The location is ideal for those of us who prefer to surf the peripheral outskirts of downtown, settled in great space at 955 Bannock, a block south of the Bannock Street Garage. Highly recommended, both as a place to chill out and work remotely with a steady stream of caffeine, and as a fantastic place to hang up your spurs and tie one on after a long arduous day of blogging. This joint is aces.
