The Highland Tavern (3400 Navajo Street) is one of those spots you really wouldn’t run into unless you were looking for it, or actually lived within a few blocks of the place. It’s truly a neighborhood bar, and as such, makes it quite a cool little joint to hit up for your afternoon Happy Hour. The newly renovated spot boasts daily drink specials, pool, ping pong, and video games, as well as a decent menu of food to boot. They’ve also got free Poker tournaments every Wednesday at 7pm.
